International Admissions / Impaction
Admission to Cal State Fullerton is competitive because the University receives more qualified applicants than there are available spots for students. This has led to “impaction”—meaning that meeting the minimum California State University (CSU) requirements does not guarantee admission to Cal State Fullerton. Currently, the University is impacted for both incoming freshmen and transfer students.
