Undergraduate Upper Division Transfer - Admission Requirements

• Earn 60 semester or 90 quarter college-level units from an institution in the U.S. or an institution outside of the U.S.

Applicants that attended an institution in the U.S.:

• • Completion of General Education courses with grades of C- or  better:
    
    • 1A: English Composition
    • 1B: Critical Thinking
    • 1C: Oral Communication
    • 2A: Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning

Applicants that attended an institution outside the U.S.:

• • Not required to meet full General Education courses but must have  completed a college-level mathematics course

• Earn a competitive GPA
• Meet English proficiency (meet one test)*:

• • TOEFL: 61+
  • IELTS: 5.5+
  • PTE: 43+

*Additional options to meet this requirement are available, and some countries are exempt.
Some majors have supplemental admission requirements.
