Indigenous cultures have a deep connection with Mother Earth. They honor the four directions of Mother Earth with their prayers. The four directions are not bound by borders. In the same way, indigenous people are not bound by borders. Indigenous people are all over Mother Earth. However, indigenous students make up only 0.5% of U.S. students who study abroad. Crossed arrows are a symbol of friendship. They carry that spirit of friendship to promote cross cultural understanding with all the citizens of Mother Earth. SAGE is dedicated to advocating for indigenous Titans to connect them with other communities and discover the beauty of Mother Earth.
