On-Campus Housing

On-Campus Housing allows you to meet other students, practice English and learn more about American culture.

Housing offers Traditional Style and Apartment Style accommodations (see below for layout and pricing). 

  • On-campus housing is a great place to meet other students, practice conversational English and learn about American culture
  • Furnished rooms include bed, desk, chair, lamp and closet
  • Utilities are included in the rent
  • Meal Plans (see below)
  • Contract: Academic Year, though limited spaces for one-semester contracts are available

Both private and double room options can be paid off over three payments.

All options (Private Room and Double) will require a deposit of $350.

Room and Meal Plan Information

Double occupancy bedroom apartments are designed to house six apartment-mates, two per bedroom in three bedrooms. All apartments have central heat and air conditioning. There are two bathrooms in each apartment. Each apartment has sliding glass doors leading to a balcony.

  • Bedrooms: Approximately 9.5 feet by 16 feet. Each bedroom has two telephone jacks, two Ethernet ports and one cable TV plug.
  • Beds: 80 inches long by 39 inches wide (twin extra-long). Beds are bunkable.
  • Desk: 42 inches long by 24 inches deep with four drawers. With chair and bookshelf.
  • Wardrobe: Triple doors. 120 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 95 inches tall.
  • Dresser: (4 drawers) 23 inches deep by 30 inches tall by 23 inches wide.
  • Living Room: Couch, two armchairs, coffee table, two end tables. Each living room has a cable TV plug.
  • Dining Room: Dining room table with six chairs.
  • Kitchen: gas stove, microwave, cabinets, double sink, garbage disposal, full size refrigerator and dishwasher.
  • Bathrooms: Bathrooms have sinks, tub/shower, toilet and medicine cabinet. (One bathroom has two sinks).

Single occupancy apartments are designed to house four apartment-mates with each having a private bedroom. All apartments have central heat and air conditioning. There are two bathrooms in each apartment. Each apartment has sliding glass doors leading to a balcony or porch.

  • Bedrooms: Approximately 12 feet by 8 feet. Each bedroom has one Ethernet port, one telephone jack and one cable TV plug.
  • Beds: 80 inches long and 39 inches wide. (twin extra-long)
  • Desk: (with chair) 48inches long by 24 inches deep. 4 drawers and no bookshelf.
  • Wardrobe: (built in) Double doors, 83 inches wide by 26 inches deep by 79 inches tall.
  • Living Room: Couch, armchair, coffee table. Each living room has two Ethernet ports, one cable TV plug and two telephone jacks.
  • Dining Room: Dining table and four chairs.
  • Kitchen: Gas stove, microwave, cabinets, double sink, garbage disposal, full size refrigerator and dish washer.
  • Bathrooms: Each bathroom has a sink, tub/shower, toilet and medicine cabinet. One bathroom has six drawers and the other bathroom has three drawers.
  • 80 and 112 Block Meal plans indicate how many times a student can go to the cafeteria (80 or 112 times per semester)
  • 5 Day Continuous offers unlimited meals Monday-Friday
  • 7 Day Continuous offers unlimited meals every day of the week
  • Declining Balance shows additional credit that students can use towards a purchase in the cafeteria or mini-market

Please note that the campus housing is divided into 2 sections. Freshman students are placed together in the dorm style housing, and all other students are placed in the APARTMENT style housing (3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room area, bathrooms). Visiting students will also be placed in the APARTMENT style housing. The video mostly presents freshman housing, but I hope that you can learn about and enjoy the atmosphere of the campus lifestyle.
