What This Means for Students
If you’re currently inside the U.S.:
- Do not travel internationally if you're from one of the affected countries.
- Stay in the U.S. to avoid potential issues with re-entry once the restrictions go into effect.
If you’re currently outside the U.S.:
- If you're from one of the affected countries and already hold a valid visa, you should return to the U.S. as soon as possible.
- Make sure you’re carrying a valid passport, a valid F-1 visa, and an I-20 with a current travel signature.
- Keep in mind: the restrictions begin at 12:01 a.m. EDT on Monday, June 9, so your time to return is limited.
